Energy Vitamins


Different vitamins have different purpose in the body. It is important to know which vitamins are for which purpose, so as to identify any possible deficiency that your body might have.   • B6 (Pyridoxine): This vitamin protects the body’s arteries and improves the circulatory system. This is important, because in order to have enough energy you need to have proper blood flow, carrying oxygen to the necessary body parts.
  • B9 (Folic Acid): This vitamin also protects the arteries but at the same time it helps form the red blood cell, which is what carries the oxygen through the blood. This vitamin is also important for pregnant women to prevent birth defect in their babies.
  • Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): This vitamin is probably the most important one in terms of energy vitamins. In fact, vitamin B12 is often nicknamed the “energy vitamin”. This vitamin along with folic acid helps the body to create red blood cells. It also helps the body to absorb food, and there for replenishes the energy supply.
  • Biotin: This vitamin helps metabolize fat and protein, a process necessary to convert food into energy.
